What she does, and what she doesn't.
- Asks a short set of structured questions about your goal, amount, term, income and credit self-assessment.
- Matches your profile to the loan type most likely to suit — Personal, Debt Consolidation, Tiny Home, Wedding, and so on.
- Returns an indicative rate range and monthly repayment estimate so you know what you're looking at before you apply.
- Hands you off to an ASIC-regulated lender (currently Harmoney) to complete a full paperless application if you choose to proceed.
- Ei Amy is not a licensed financial adviser and does not provide personal financial advice.
- Ei Amy does not approve loans, set rates, or lend money — the lender does that under Australian responsible-lending law.
- Ei Amy does not run a hard credit check. Getting an indicative rate uses a soft check that does not affect your credit score.
- Ei Amy does not sell your data, share it with unrelated third parties, or spam you afterwards.
Only what she needs to help you.
Loan purpose, requested amount, preferred term, employment status, income band and a self-declared credit rating. That's the whole set.
No tax file number, no bank login, no full ID document, no full credit file. Those are only ever collected by the lender at the formal application step, on their own secure platform.
Your answers stay on-device to compute an indicative match. If you choose to apply, we hand off to the lender's application flow — their privacy policy then applies to what you submit there.
LoansAi.au itself does not build a marketing profile of you from the assistant flow. Standard, anonymised analytics may record that a session occurred so we can improve the product.
AI makes mistakes. Here's how we handle that.
Ei Amy is a digital assistant. Like any AI-assisted tool, her outputs can contain errors — a wrong number, an out-of-date rate, a category that doesn't quite fit your situation. We design around that honestly rather than pretending it can't happen.
Every number Ei Amy shows is clearly labelled as indicative. Your real rate and approval decision come from the lender after their full assessment.
If Ei Amy says something that doesn't match what you're seeing at the lender's application step, trust the lender's figures and let us know so we can improve.
Ei Amy will never fake urgency, hide fees, or push a bigger loan than you asked for. If we ever do, that's a bug — report it.
